The project’s initiator and director Jeroen Leinders is no stranger to Curacao. He spent a large part of his youth on the island and has been regularly living and working there during the past five years. Working on Curacao he came across the inspiring story of Tula and wrote the storyline. His style can be characterized as compact, personal and direct, with high attention for composition

Dolph van Stapele
Being the co-owner of Fisheye Media Productions co-initiator Dolph van Stapele has been working from Curacao as a director of photography for the last decade. His main focus is producing documentaries for the Dutch and American market, but also he has been successful shooting several award-nominated short movies in the United States. His motto ‘less is more’ characterizes his cinematography. Dolph brings in years of experience in reporting news, documentary making, editing, directing, commercial filming and short film. It is this variety of projects that has shaped his style that can be called genuine and authentic.
Curtis Holt Hawkins
Hawkins earned a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he designed his own major incorporating writing, business, acting and directing curriculums. While at NYU, Hawkins was trained with the Practical Aesthetic Workshop, an acting conservatory developed by critically acclaimed writer/director David Mamet and Academy Award nominees William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman.
Hawkins began his writing career developing spec situation comedies for Quincy Jones Productions. He then penned the feature length version of Choose Life, the 2001 Sundance Film Festival audience choice award winner for short films
